Woah, woah woah.... a YEAR? Seriously? My last entry was on star wars day LAST YEAR?? How can this be? I remember writing that entry like it was, well, 6 months ago maybe, but not almost an entire year! Huh.
What's weird is I'm still using that same makeup (with additions). My skinfinish powder has run out long ago, but the fluidline is still going strong. The blush is almost done and the lid is broken, and the foundation is done too.. So, actually, I'm not really using the same makeup, just the liner. BUT, enough about makeup, I'm still in amazement that a whole year has passed since I was last here. So, what has been happening?
Welll.... Dexter has had not one but two operations (planned from when he was born, don't worry, there have been no medical shockers) he is now almost 3 years old (eeeep!!) and is super duper clever and wonderful and clearly just takes after me :D
We moved house in February, to an actual house and not a flat, so we're benefiting from having a garden! Dexter now owns a trampoline which he will not stop playing on, and he's made a friend in the boy who lives next door. We have a cat, Luna, who is currently up the duff and expecting her first litter of little fluffy bundles of joy on the 25th of May. After that she'll be losing her womanhood as the aforementioned bundles of joy were unplanned and the daddy is a creepy looking dirty shaggy furball who looks like he's a stray.
Also, excitement! We're going on holiday in September. Dexter's first ever holiday out of the country and my first for 5 years. We're going to Disney World, Florida *insert vision of me doing crazy happy dance* and the BEST bit of it is, it's a total surprise. Dexter, Dean and Mikey (my brothers) are completely unaware and wont find out til we're actually at the airport. We're driving there under the ruse that we're going to England for a dog show. Actually, we're driving to Manchester airport (because for some bizarre reason the holiday would cost £2,000 more to fly from Glasgow airport).
SO, that's all the excitement from the past year. This is probably the point where I promise to keep this updated and I'll do my best blah blah blah, but to be honest, you'll probably see me again on Star Wars day next year. Til then... May the 4th be with you.
